The Mediterranean Sea

Last week we took a cruise for the first time ever visiting sea ports in the Mediterranean Sea.  We started and ended in Venice, Italy and we visited Croatia, Greece, and Turkey.  We didn't know if we would like cruising, but we loved it!  It was nice to finally feel some warm weather!

We were delighted that some friends from school went on the cruise with us.

Virgin Mary's house in Ephesus.  She was said to live her last few years here.
This is the well of Holy water.  People come from all over to drink this water for healing!

We want to come back here again to visit longer!

We ate dinner at a authentic venetian restaurant.

We went to a venetian mask making workshop in Venice.
The kids were very creative!  They were excited to wear them in Venice.
