St. Patrick's Day

The American Women's Club of Dusseldorf organized an Easter Egg hunt on Saturday morning at a nearby castle, Schloss Kalkum.  Vivian and Jack had fun at the Easter Egg hunt.  But, it is probably their last one because they felt a little to old to participate and almost didn't go.
Hmmm.... I wonder if anyone is home?

We headed over to the Norton's house for dinner on Saturday night to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.  We met the Norton's here in Germany because they also work at Johnson Controls and go to St. George's School.  It's a small world because they are also from Hudsonville!  We enjoyed hamburgers for dinner and then we roasted marshmallows over a bonfire and made yummy smores.

It was a fun day!  But, it was also a very special day too.  I would like to add a special congratulations to my parents, Jack and Nella, for their 45th wedding anniversary!  God has surely blessed them with 45 wonderful years together.  We also send birthday wishes to my sister and Mom this past week too!
